Officially I am half way through College for my Associates Degree in Visual Communication, seems to go by so fast but yet so slow!
This term coming up taking College Math 1, and Broadcast graphics which this class should be interesting, or very hard. I hope I enjoy it as I have never actually tried to use video editing software before. Guess I need to get a copy of Adobe Premier installed.

Finishing up my very first year of College and so far so good, working full time and going to class for 12 credit hours a semester has been interesting and fun. Husband has been fully supportive and is almost done with his own Degree in Interior Design. Next semester starts on December 6th and can’t wait.
On a side note I just had some time to update my portfolio site with new work ive done over the past few months.

Over this next weekend the gays come out in masses, I am so excited for the weekend! I posted below the events for this upcoming weekend!
Albuquerque Pride has become New Mexico’s largest and most attended lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender event held every year in June. This is more than a one-day event; it is a week of Pride for our diverse community. Take a look at what we have in store for you this year!
Even though Pride may look like just a fun party, it has an important purpose in the community. As we grow, the rest of the city of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico realize the incredible diversity and strength of our GLBTQ community. Just your presence makes a difference. Every year, we hear about someone who never knew there was such a community out there. Or people meet and start new relationships. Or politicans realize they need to listen to our voices when we speak. Even if its just for the fun of it, come out, come out, come out and show us who you are by attending Albuquerque Pride.
For one I am extremely excited as this was the first real Musical I have seen in my life so it holds a dear place in my heart! Glad they are keeping it and I hope they do a little update for it to make it look crisp and clean!
Contrary to earlier reports, the Hyperion Theate
r won’t be setting the genie free just yet. By popular demand, “Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” will remain at Disney’s California Adventure park.
We received a lot of comments on the Blog asking for Aladdin to continue its run. It’s almost as if the Genie granted your wish!
Although “Toy Story – The Musical” was scheduled to move into Hyperion Theater following Genie’s last bow, Buzz, Woody and their pals will stay focused on the new additions in Toy Story Mania…for now.
Construction has been scheduled near the Hyperion Theater for August 15. Although that may still impact some performances, we’re doing everything we can to keep the show up and running. Stay tuned to the Blog for updates, and we’ll share details when we have them (or, you can always check Disneyland.com for showtimes).
Now, close your eyes, make a wish and hit play to see Genie in action. And don’t forget to tell us your favorite Genie joke – and oh, no wishes for more wishes.
