Well looks like the Rumors have started about Palm.

Being for Sale that is! Does not surprise me but I do not think it will happen Palm in itself is a very proud company they started the basics of a Smart Phone and I do not think they are down and out just yet.

Palm for sale? That’s the latest report from Bloomberg news, which says the struggling maker of the Pre and Pixi phones is looking for offers. Up for the highest bid is also Palm’s WebOS, the company’s promising mobile operating system that never really took off with consumers.

Whether the sale of Palm would be a death knell for the company or a smart move to revitalize the brand and technology is anybody’s guess. Palm’s WebOS is a potentially strong contender in the smartphone arena, and if the right buyer puts the OS on the right device, they might be on to a winner.

Who could look into buying Palm and why?

New Blackberry Slider to Sprint?

From the looks of it Sprint may be one of the first Carriers to get the new Blackberry Slider phone everyone has been talking about, im excited and I hope this phone has a touch screen too but well see!

Thanks to a trusted tipster over at BGR, we now have some more exciting news about the mysterious BlackBerry slider. First, the bad news is that the model has failed early diagnostic testing 4 out of 5 times. The only other ‘Berry that ever failed such a test is the Pearl Flip. The tipster says that the slider he saw was branded with the Sprint name which could be the CDMA flavored 9900. The GSM/HSPA version, the 9930, will support 850/1900MHz UMTS which would suggest support for AT&T and Rogers 3G networks. As far as what the device will be called, the source said that the Bold name was nowhere near the phone. For those Sprint customers who have been feeling left out lately, perhaps this will be considered exciting news for them.
